Visit the web application to join our verified volunteer list. After a short verification step, you can join the platform. You will then be able to find recommended opportunities, apply with one click, track your progress, and receive impact stories for your contributions.

Please give the nonprofit up to 2 weeks to review your profile. They will be in touch through our app's chat feature where you can ask any clarifying questions or set up a call before the opportunity starts.

Once you start an opportunity, a place to track your progress on your milestones and log your hours will pop up. In an upcoming release you'll be able to add your own external volunteer work to the platform and track hours there too.

You are welcome to continue working with the nonprofit after you're complete. If possible, please request the nonprofit to create a new opportunity for you to continue tracking your hours on the platform. If you do not wish to continue after your opportunity is complete that is fine too.

MeaningfulWork is free to join for all nonprofit organizations and will always be. We are planning offer premium features to better recruit and manage volunteers in the near future.

We help streamline the process to recruit skilled volunteers for your mission. Volunteers are pre-verified for skillsets before joining the platform. We work with corporate employees and skilled individuals to ensure the best fit for your organization. You might get fewer applicants than other platforms, but they will be just who you'll need.

Visit the app to sign up and schedule a discovery call with our team. We'll get you set up on our platform. Once you have your account, the first step is to create an opportunity from our pre-made templates or from scratch. You can choose between skilled opportunities (projects, advising, events, or board positions) or casual opportunities. You can expect to receive and review applicants between 1-2 weeks after you post.

Our platform gives you the ability to chat with or schedule a call with applicants. You have the ability to accept multiple applicants and decline those who are not the right fit. You'll then be able to monitor their progress and hours and celebrate their success by providing a short impact story.
